On February 7, 2013 H.E. Mr. Ihor V. Humennyi, Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia had the meeting with H.E. Mr. Mat Dris bin Yaacob, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia (Head of the Consular Division), and Mr. Dzulkefli Abdullah, Principal Assistant Secretary (Consular) of the MFA of Malaysia.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the perspectives of the bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere, in particular regarding the conclusion of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Malaysia on Partial Abolition of Visa Requirements, as well as the specifics of the consular service of Malaysia.

Both sides agreed to maintain further effective contacts.
