H.E. Mr. Igor Poliha, the Director-General of the Fourth Territorial Directorate General of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine held the meeting with the Vice President/ CEO Development and Production of the Malaysian national oil and gas company “Petroliam Nasional Bhd” (PETRONAS).

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and “PETRONAS” company within issues of exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the deep water areas of the Ukrainian Black Sea shelf, as well as the possibility of supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Ukraine. An important part of the discussion was the exchange of ideas on the prospects of engagement of energy machine-building companies of Ukraine to the implementation of large-scale infrastructure oil & gas projects in Malaysia, including the ones by “PETRONAS” company.
