H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine Ihor Humennyi had the meeting with the Executive Director for Investments of the National investment company of Malaysia “Khazanah Nasional Bhd” - Mr. Dominic Silva.

The interlocutors discussed the issues of the current situation and problems in the cooperation between both countries in the field of investments. In this context, the possibilities of the engagement of “Khazanah” to the conduction of the presentation of investment opportunities of Ukraine (roadshow) in Malaysia in November 2013 were discussed. The Malaysian representative expressed the willingness to provide assistance in the organization of that event and outlined the three most perspective areas of the investment cooperation with Ukraine, namely biotechnology, engineering innovation and medical tourism. The Ambassador also suggested the Executive Director to consider the possibility of participation of “Khazanah” representatives in the seminar "Investment climate and investment opportunities in Ukraine."

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed on the modalities of future cooperation.
