On August 26, 2011 H.E. Ihor Humennyi, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia, hold a meeting with Dato’ Wee Yiaw Hin, Executive Vice President of “Petronas”, in order to discuss the issues of the development of cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia.

During the discussion the status of the Ukrainian proposals on the involvement of “Petronas” to the development of oil resources in the deep waters of the Ukrainian Black Sea shelf area was considered.

Among other topics, the Ukrainian Ambassador informed the counterpart on the perspectives of cooperation with “Petronas” on supplying of the Ukrainian power generating equipment to Malaysia.
