On March 1, 2012 H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Ihor V. Humennyi had the meeting with Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz, the Governor of the Central Bank (Bank Negara) of Malaysia.

The interlocutors discussed the basic parameters of the banking sector in Malaysia. The Governor informed the Ambassador about the level of cooperation of the Central Bank of Malaysia with international financial organizations in banking and investment sector. In addition, the parties have identified the opportunities to engage the Ukrainian specialized companies to participate in biddings for printing of the equities and notes for Malaysia.

In this regard, the parties agreed on the need to establish cooperation between the central banks of Ukraine and Malaysia.
