Since 10 till 13 of December, 2013 the nonresident Ambassador of Ukraine to Timor-Leste H.E. Mr. Ihor Humennyi has visited this country with working visit.

During his stay in Timor-Leste H.E. Mr. Ihor Humennyi held the meetings with the Vice-Prime-Minister of Timor-Leste, Chief of Stuff of the Office of the President of Timor-Leste, the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources of Timor-Leste, the State Secretary for Defense of Timor-Leste, the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Timor-Leste, Vice –Minister for Education of Timor-Lesteб the Deputy Minister for Commerce and Industry of Timor-Leste, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Timor-Leste and the Commander General of the National Police of Timor-Leste.

In course of the meetings with the representatives of the Timor-Leste Political establishment, the perspectives for the development of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Timor-Leste in the sphere of trade and economy, education, defense and technical cooperation, as well as in the agricultural sector were discussed.
