On February 23, 2014 the commemorate requiem for the people which have been killed during the recent massive protests in Ukraine was held in the Orthodox Church in Malaysia. The religious ceremony was attended by the Ukrainian community and the stuff of the Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia.

After the requiem Father Stephan pronounced a homily in Ukrainian language in which he called for peace and prosperity prevail in Ukraine and there was no more violence.

 

All Ukrainians in Malaysia grieve for the killed compatriots, let them rest in peace.

 

24 - 25 February, the Book of Condolence is open for signing at the Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia.
