On July 3, 2014 in Kuala Lumpur the Embassies of Ukraine and Georgia together with the EU Delegation to Malaysia celebrated the historic event - the signature of the Association Agreements between EU and Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova in Brussels on June 27, 2014.
The ambassadors of the EU Member-states, G-7 and Eastern Partnership took part in the event.
The representatives of the major Malaysian mass-media were also present at this arrangement.
In his speech the Head of the Delegation of the EU to Malaysia Ambassador Luc Vandebon welcomed Ukraine and Georgia with the signing of the Association Agreement and stressed that the EU member-states will continue to support all steps towards the European integration undertaken by these countries.
Addressing the audience, the Ambassador of Ukraine I.Humennyi pointed out the benefits of the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement that opened new page in the modern history of our State. The Ambassador also stressed on the major challenges which must be resolved by Ukraine and the EU-countries to implement the signed Agreement.
