On January 13, 2011 H.E. Ihor Humennyi, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia hold a meeting with Hon. Dato’ Kong Cho Ha, Minister of Transport of Malaysia, during which the perspectives of bilateral cooperation in transport sphere were discussed.

Malaysian official was acquainted with the potential of Ukraine in the field of aircraft building and railway transport manufacturing. In this context, the attention of the Minister was attracted to the possibility of joint production of aircrafts based on the industrial possibilities of ASTC  «Antonov».

In the context of strengthening relations between the two countries, the interlocutors noted the importance of expanding the legal framework in the transport sector, including signing the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Malaysia on Air Transport.
