On April 8, 2016 in the framework of the celebration of 202nd anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birthday and 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, the Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia held an evening of poetry. T.Shevchenko's poems "My Testament" and "The Caucasus" were performed in Ukrainian and Malay languages by the citizens of Malaysia who studied in Ukraine.
