KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 29 (Bernama) -- Holodomor, Execution By Hunger: The Unknown Genocide of Ukrainians exhibition, the display of Ukraine's harrowing man-made famine currently being held in Malaysia, has been extended until Jan 19, 2018, following good turnout.

Ukraine Ambassador to Malaysia Olexander Nechytaylo said the exhibition - the first ever in Malaysia - which is organised by the Ukraine Embassy in Malaysia at the University of Malaya (UM) Art Gallery, was scheduled to end Thursday.

It has so far attracted over 1,200 people from 19 countries, since the opening on Nov 28.

"I am overwhelmed by the response we received. People, especially the young generation, can learn from this event and to not take things for granted in their life," he told Bernama when met at the exhibition, yesterday.

The Art Gallery located on the 5th floor of UM's Chancellery building is open every Monday-Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm....
