On March 26, 2012 H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Ihor V. Humennyi had the meeting with Assistant Director General for Corporate Management and PR Division of the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia and the representatives of the Division.

The interlocutors discussed issues of the structure and operation of the fire protection system of Malaysia, particularly of taking measures in the sphere fire and rescue. The Ambassador of Ukraine was informed on the mechanisms of interaction and submission of the structural units of the Department of Fire and Rescue Service Malaysia.

In addition, the Malaysian representatives provided information about the system and procedures of the procurement of vehicles and fire rescue equipment in this country.

As a result, both sides agreed to maintain working contacts with a view of further cooperation.
