On October 18, 2012 H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Ihor V. Humennyi had the meeting with Mr. J. Jayasiri, Senior Director of Multilateral Trade Policy and Negotiations of the Ministry of international trade and industry of (MITI) and the representatives of the Division.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the aspects of the Malaysian policy on protecting the interests of the Malaysian manufacturers. In this context, the counterpart informed that the protective measures against Ukrainian enterprises are not applied.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain further contacts.
