On 9 June 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia H.E. Dr. Hennadii Nadolenko, PhD  visited UCSI University  and held a meeting with Professor Emeritus Datuk Ts Ir Dr Siti Hamisah Tapsir, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University, as well as representatives of the university’s leadership, faculties, and Global Engagement Office.

The meeting focused on exploring prospects for cooperation between the Embassy of Ukraine and UCSI University, opportunities to establish academic cooperation between Ukrainian higher education institutions and the UCSI, including initiatives that would promote student mobility, academic exchanges, and collaboration in education and research.

Despite the challenges Ukraine continues to face, international educational and cultural cooperation remains a strategic priority. Partnerships between universities play a vital role in fostering mutual understanding, advancing innovation, and creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders, scholars, and professionals.

The Embassy of Ukraine highly appreciates UCSI University’s openness to dialogue and its interest in developing meaningful cooperation with Ukrainian institutions. We look forward to further strengthening educational and cultural ties between Ukraine and Malaysia for the benefit of both countries.
