Chief of Protocol, Dato’ Yubazlan Haji Yusof, received a courtesy call from the Ambassador-designate of Ukraine to Malaysia on, H.E. Hennadii Nadolenko on 19 August 2025.

Both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including the exploration of potential avenues of cooperation to further strengthen Malaysia–Ukraine bilateral relations. His Excellency Hennadii Nadolenko, Ambassador-designate of Ukraine to Malaysia, also expressed his readiness to work closely with Malaysia in strengthening and advancing cooperation across various sectors, while underscoring Ukraine’s commitment to exploring new opportunities that would bring benefits to both countries.

The Chief of Protocol also took the opportunity to extend an invitation to the Ambassador-designate of Ukraine to Malaysia to attend the Presentation of Credentials Ceremony for incoming Heads of Foreign Mission to Malaysia, which is scheduled to be held on 27 August 2025 at Istana Negara.
