On February 29, 2012 H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Ihor V. Humennyi had the meeting with the Doctor Haji Abdul Rahman Hasan, the Chief Statistician of Malaysia, Department of Statistics Malaysia.

The interlocutors discussed the issues of the publication of the key economic indicators of Malaysia converted from national Malaysian currency (ringgit) into U.S. dollars. In this context, the Malaysian side informed that the Department of Statistics submits these data annually for its publication by the international organizations (UN, IMF).

The sides exchanged views on the source of statistical data on macroeconomic measures of Malaysia.

During the meeting, the Malaysian government official provided the Ambassador with the list of statistical publications issued by the Department. As a result of the meeting it was agreed to maintain a working relationship.
