On the 11th of January 2012 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Mr. Ihor V. Humennyi had a meeting with the President of Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers - Tan Sri Yong Poh Kon. The participants discussed the potential of the Ukrainian-Malaysian trade and investment relations, the prospect of the establishing of the Ukrainian-Malaysian Business Council in the context of intensification of bilateral business contacts.

In this regard, the President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers proposed to use the data and contact base of the organization for the mutual benefit of establishing of direct contacts between manufacturing companies and companies-sellers of the both countries.

As part of the meeting there was also an exhibition tour over up-to-date work-shops of the «Royal Selangor» company, which is the leader of Malaysia for manufacturing of the products from tin and other precious metals since 1885 (mostly handmade).
