On May 6, 2011 H.E. Ihor Humennyi, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia hold a meeting with Datuk Loo Took Gee, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technologies and Water of Malaysia, as well as with Mr. Zamani Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of  «Petronas»  and other representatives of that company.

Within the framework of these meetings the presentation of Ukrainian Alliance  «New Energy of Ukraine»  took place, during which, the Malaysian specialists were acquainted with the latest technologies, manufacturing facilities and achievements of Ukraine in the field of new and renewable sources of energy.

At the meetings it was agreed to undertake further steps towards the extension of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia in the energy sector.
