Dear Ukrainians and all the friends of Ukraine in Malaysia,
November 22 is a sad date in the history of Ukraine: we honour the memory of millions of our fellow citizens deprived of their lives through the sinister desire of Soviet Bolsheviks regime to break the spirit, destroy the very idea of Ukrainian nation. Not that many nations in the XX century have experienced such tortures as Ukrainians and other ethnic groups inhabiting Ukraine who did not suit the Kremlin architects of the communist empire – the USSR.

Let the home of every one of you on this day and time to be lit up with the flame of mourning and respect for the millions of victims of Holodomor-Genocide (Great Famine), for the dead and unborn countrymen - as a symbol of undying memory and strive for freedom and independence of our Motherland.
