On March 19, 2012 H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Ihor V. Humennyi had the meeting with Director of the Trade and Services Promotion Division of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and the representatives of the Division.

The interlocutors discussed the issues of development and implementation of the foreign economic policy of Malaysia. In particular, the additional information was given on the structure and working methods of the authorities of Malaysia, operating in this area. In addition, the Malaysian representative briefed the Ambassador about mechanisms of interaction between public and private institutions of the country working at the external economic sphere.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed on the modalities of future cooperation.
