On March 14, 2012 H.E. Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia Ihor V. Humennyi had the meeting with Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Islamic Bank Mr. Mohammad Safri Shagul Hamid.

The representative of the bank briefly informed the Ambassador about the features of the Islamic approach to the banking («Islamic banking») in Malaysia. The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the banking institutions of Ukraine and the Bank «CIMB Islamic» - one of the leading banks of Malaysia. In addition, they discussed the activities of the bank «CIMB Islamic» in international banking and investment spheres.

In this regard, the parties agreed to maintain the working contacts.
