The Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia on September 11, 2012 organized the Reception on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Independence of Ukraine.

This event was attended by Ukrainian Community in Malaysia, the representatives of the Parliament and governmental bodies of Malaysia, in particular of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Industry, Defence and Home Affairs. The function was also attended by the representatives of the diplomatic corps, business circles and mass media.

The Honourable Senator Datuk Heng Seai Kie, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development of Malaysia represented the Government of Malaysia at the Reception on the occasion of the National Day of Ukraine. The Honourable Senator A. Kohilan Pillay, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia also participated in the Reception.

During the Reception the Embassy arranged the large photo exhibition, which was dedicated to the major achievements of Ukraine over the years of its independence, as well as successful EURO-2012 holding in our country.
