On the 26th of September 2012 H.E. Mr. Ihor V. Humennyi, Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia had a meeting with Mr. Stewart Forbes, the Executive Director of Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The issues of the development of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of trade and commerce and other economic aspects were among the discussed matters during the meeting.

The participants specified the spheres of interest of the business circles – participants of the business-forum in Kuala Lumpur at the end of November 2012. As a result of the meeting energy, metallurgy, agricultural and services sectors, in particular tourism were determined as perspective in this context. In addition, it was agreed to coordinate the efforts regarding the organization of the mentioned business-forum with the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
