On 4–5 February 2026, H.E. Dr. Hennadii Nadolenko, PhD , Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia, paid an official visit to Albukhary International University @aiuedu  (AIU), Kedah.

On 5 February, H.E. Dr. Hennadii Nadolenko held meetings with Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd Saleh Jaafar, Vice-Chancellor and President of AIU, and Prof. Dr. Hj. Mohamad Abdullah Hamdi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). The discussions focused on cooperation in the fields of digital security, advanced technologies, higher education, and applied research.

During the visit, a signing ceremony was held for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Albukhary International University and Chernihiv Polytechnic National University (Ukraine), which opens new opportunities for academic, scientific, and technical cooperation, including student and faculty exchange programs.
