On 28th November 2017 in commemoration of the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia in collaboration with the University Malaya launched a photo exhibition ‘Execution by Hunger – The Unknown Genocide of Ukrainians’. The event, which took place at the University of Malaya Art Gallery was officiated by H.E. Mr. Olexander Nechytaylo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Malaysia, Prof.Dr. Ataullah Bogdan Kopański, a prominent scholar and historian. Representatives of the Kuala Lumpur diplomatic corps, students and postgraduates of the University, members of the Ukrainian Cultural Association in Malaysia and Ukrainian community attended the ceremony. The exhibition will be open until 28th December 2017 with a free access for general public.
