On May 24, 2011 H.E. Ihor Humennyi, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia hold a meeting with Dato’ Eisah A. Rahman, Senior Director of the Pharmaceutical Services of Malaysia and senior staff of this organization in order to discussed the issues regarding the development of the cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia in this sphere.

During the meeting the Malaysian specialists were acquainted with the latest technologies and achievements of the Ukrainian healthcare sector, and in particular, manufacturing facilities of the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical companies. In this context there were presented the proposals of Ukrainian pharmaceutical company with the view to enter the Malaysian market with the Ukrainian medicines.

At the meetings it was agreed to undertake further steps towards the extension of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia in the healthcare sector.
