On April 26, 2011, H.E. Mr. Ihor V. Humennyi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Malaysia, met Malaysian Minister of Defence YB Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi and supervisory personal of this Ministry.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the potential perspectives for development of military and technical cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia. The presentation of manufacturing capacities of Ukrainian defence industrial enterprises was delivered. The Minister was invited to visit our country to be acquainted in details with the relevant issues.

Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi thanked the counterpart for fruitful and informative conversation having expressed the intention to continue and further develop bilateral contacts.
