On April 18, 2011 H.E. Ihor Humennyi, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia hold a meeting with Hon. Datuk Seri Noh Bin Haji Omar, Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry of Malaysia, and discussed the matters of the development of mutual cooperation in agricultural sphere.

During the meeting the Malaysian official was acquainted with the latest achievements, main capabilities and perspectives of the Ukrainian agricultural complex. The interlocutors also discussed the main directions of cooperation in agriculture and agreed to conduct the seminars with the participation of the relevant experts at the ministerial level.

At the meeting the common understanding was achieved concerning necessity of further steps towards the extension of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia in the agricultural sector and the investment projects of Ukraine.
