On February 21, 2011 H.E. Ihor Humennyi, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia, hold a meeting with Hon. Dr. Noordin Bin Ahmad, Deputy Director General of the National Space Agency of Malaysia, and discussed the matters of the development of mutual cooperation in space.

During the meeting the Malaysian official was acquainted with the latest achievements, main capabilities and perspectives of the Ukrainian space industry. The success lunches of the Malaysian satellites by the Ukrainian rocket launchers in the years 2 000 and 2 009 were especially highlighted, as well as the perspective directions of further cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia were also discussed.

At the meeting the common understanding was achieved concerning the necessity of holding the presentation of the Ukrainian capabilities in space sphere at the appropriate Malaysian organizations.
