On November, 19, 2010 H.E. Ihor Humennyi, Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia hold a meeting with Dr. A Hapiz Abdullah, Chairman of Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia, and discussed the possibilities of extending the cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia in chemical sphere.

During the meeting the Chairman was acquainted with the latest achievements of chemical industry of Ukraine, its main capabilities, potential and perspective plans.

The perspectives of supply the Ukrainian fertilizers for the needs of Malaysian agricultural companies, the initiation of cooperation in pharmaceutical and biotechnological spheres, as well as the possibility of importing the Malaysian natural rubber for the needs of Ukrainian chemical enterprises were discussed.

The Ambassador of Ukraine and the Chairman of Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia agreed to undertake further steps towards the strengthening the economic cooperation between Ukraine and Malaysia in the above mentioned sectors of economy.
