On April 19-22, 2010 the international defense exhibition “Defense Services Asia – 2010” took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The exhibition organized by the Ministry of Defense of Malaysia every two years is the largest in the Asia-Pacific region and is among the five largest military exhibitions in the world.

By the information of the exhibition’s organizers, the DSA-2010 was visited by more than 25 000 guests and participants from 60 countries; military contracts for more than $ 3 billion were signed at the exhibition.

The thematic of the exhibition included the following main directions: land forces armament, means of air defense, communications, air force equipment, navy defense, armored equipment, artillery systems, space technologies, multipurpose goods.

The delegation of Ukraine comprised of the representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and a range of Ukrainian special export companies, as well as of the Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia, took an active part at the work of the DSA-2010.

While participating at the exhibition, the Ukrainian delegation held a range of official meetings with the Minister of Defense, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Commander of the Air Forces of Malaysia and other officials of this country.
