KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 (Bernama) -- Ukraine aims to strengthen and widen its defence industry with Malaysia, taking into consideration Malaysia's rapid development in defence system, said its Ambassador to Malaysia Olexander Nechytaylo.
The envoy said Ukraine was very much committed to collaborate with Malaysia and defence aspect was among the key areas that both countries had been working together for years.
"We (Ukraine) just got back from a courtesy call with Defence Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Abdul Rahim Mohamad Radzi. We discussed and agreed to work closely and to create a proper framework.
"With that, many aspects will be discussed, such as political, defence and idea sharing," he told Bernama on the sidelines of the Defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security Asia (NatSec) 2018 exhibition here.
Olexander said he attended DSA in 1998 and saw a huge difference in these 20 years, proving that Malaysia has grown steadily to actively contribute to regional security.....(за підпискою): http://www.bernama.com/en/news.php?id=1455824
